Event Description

Help improve our natural areas by removing invasive species! For smaller plants, if the ground is moist, we will remove those by hand pulling. Larger plants will be cut and then treated with herbicide spray by willing volunteers. Invasive plants will be dragged to a collection site for disposal.

Volunteers are encourage to wear long pants and sleeves and sturdy shoes as the sites are off the trail and we may need to walk through thorny plants/bushes to get to the sites. Sunscreen, bug spray, and hats are also recommended. Loppers, small saws, and garden gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Volunteers ages 16 and up are welcome to join!
