Join Partners of Scott County Watersheds for the Spring 2025 Snapshot Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring Event! This is your opportunity to become a citizen scientist for the day and gather important data about the health of Scott County's watersheds. The valuable data gathered by volunteers will assist PSCW in implementing water quality improvement projects in the county. No experience is necessary, and anyone is welcome to participate!
Gather your friends and help us pull garlic mustard at Fairmount Cemetery. There are many invasive plants on this site to remove for those interested.
We encourage you to bring gloves, bug spray, and wear long pants, etc. There will be water available.

Help us celebrate the City's 43rd year as a Tree City USA by planting trees! Cleanup and Greenup is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the spring and help protect our natural resources. Aside from planting beneficial trees, participants can take pride in leaving a legacy in Davenport, have fun, make new friends, and receive sunglasses for their efforts to help us improve our community.
In honor of Earth Day, Keep America Beautiful, and the Great American Cleanup, Keep Moline Beautiful is coordinating a cleanup effort near the I-74 ramps! Please wear appropriate clothing for litter and debris removal. The City will provide supplies for volunteers but please provide your own sunscreen or insect repellent.
Join the Nahant Marsh team on our annual Spring Cleanup. We will be focusing on cleaning up Wapello and S. Concord by the Marsh on Sat. April 26th from 9am - 11am. This is a family friendly cleanup!
Please meet at the front parking lot at Nahant Marsh, there will be a check-in table near a big blue dumpster. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and sleeves, close-toed shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat. Gloves, trash bags, and trash tongs will be provided to volunteers.
Join the Clean River Advisory Council and MLK Center in Rock Island as we team up to celebrate 2025 Earth Day in our community by planting trees and cleaning up trash across different Rock Island school sites! This Spring Project is a great opportunity to get involved, and all are welcome to participate! We will meet at 12:00pm at the Martin Luther King Center Parking Lot before dispersing to different sites. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and sleeves, closed-toed shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat. Gloves, trash bags, and trash tongs will be provided to volunteers.
